What’s it like to live with dementia: Perspectives from people living with dementia & professionals

Do you want to know more about what it is like to live with dementia? This is an opportunity to hear the experiences of people living with dementia, and ask them questions about their experiences. We also have two professionals speaking about their experiences working with people living with dementia.

This event will take place from 5:30 – 7:30pm, and we will have a 15 minute break for refreshments.

During the first 50 minutes you will hear from two people living with dementia, Hilary Doxford (confirmed), and one other (TBC). We have allocated 20 minutes of this session for you to ask questions about living with dementia.

The second 50 minutes you will hear from two professionals supporting people living with dementia, Professor Rik Cheston, Professor of Mental Health Research (Dementia) (confirmed) and Beth Tovey, Dementia Day Opportunities Manager (confirmed). Again we have allocated 20 minutes for questions.
