How to reduce risk of developing dementia: A New Years resolution, 14 December

December 14 @ 6:00 am - 7:00 pm

| Free

Would you like to find out more about how to reduce your risk of developing dementia? If so, this is an opportunity to find out more and to think about setting some New Years resolutions for 2018 to help you achieve this. You will also have the chance to ask questions.

A public lecture will be given by Dr Catherine Pennington, Consultant Neurologist at North Bristol NHS Trust, and Clinical Lecturer in Dementia Neurology in the School of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bristol. The lecture will last around 40 minutes, and following this presentation there will be approximately 20 minutes for questions.

Please note we will not be providing refreshments at the event so as to keep it free, however, as we plan to hold the event in the University of Bristol there are many local amenities (cafés and convenience stores) nearby where refreshments can be purchased.

Travel information, and maps of the University of Bristol can be found here, http://www.bristol.ac.uk/maps/ The closest car park is Trenchard street which is a pay on exit multi-storey, http://www.ukcarparks.info/trenchard-street-car-park-bristol#sthash.ukjEjerb.dpbs

If you book a ticket but are no longer able to come nearer to the event, we request that you cancel your ticket so it can be offered to someone else.

If you are a wheelchair user and require assistance at the lecture please contact dementia@bristolhealthpartners.org.uk
