November 23, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

| Free

Would you like to find out more about dementia? Do you want to know more about the different types, e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy Bodies and others? If so, this is an opportunity to find out more about the different types of dementia. You will also have the chance to ask questions.

A public lecture will be given by Dr Elizabeth Coulthard, Consultant Neurologist at North Bristol NHS Trust, Consultant Senior Lecture in the School of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bristol, and co-lead Director of the Dementia Health Integration Team (HIT). The lecture will last around 40 minutes, and following this presentation there will be approximately 20 minutes for questions.

Please note we will not be providing refreshments at the event so as to keep it free, however, as we plan to hold the event in the University of Bristol there are many local amenities (cafés and convenience stores) nearby where refreshments can be purchased.

Travel information, and maps of the University of Bristol can be found here, http://www.bristol.ac.uk/maps/ The closest car park is Trenchard street which is a pay on exit multi-storey, http://www.ukcarparks.info/trenchard-street-car-park-bristol#sthash.ukjEjerb.dpbs

If you book a ticket but are no longer able to come nearer to the event, we request that you cancel your ticket so it can be offered to someone else.

If you are a wheelchair user and require assistance at the lecture please contact dementia@bristolhealthpartners.org.uk
