Paid opportunity to help design a health questionnaire.

Closing date: Wednesday 18 September

For: All women aged 18-48 years whose main spoken language is English.

What: The University of Bristol are doing research on ways of improving health in pregnancy. As part of this they have developed a questionnaire looking at women’s knowledge and views on health before and during pregnancy. GP surgeries will send this to female patients in the post.

Researchers are looking for 5-6 women to meet with them as a group to go through the questionnaire (it takes about 15 minutes to complete), and then share your thoughts on whether its wording and formatting are clear and acceptable. You don’t have to have been pregnant before or want to get pregnant to take part.

When and where: There are two one-off, hour-long discussion group meetings to choose from – a morning one on Monday 23 September at 10-11am, and an evening one at 6:30-7:30pm on Tuesday 24 September. Both of these will be held at Barton Hill Settlement community centre (4-minute walk from Lawrence Hill station / 20-minute walk from Temple Meads station).

Please let them know which one of these you would prefer to come to. Even if you cannot come to either of these, please do get in touch as they may also be able to arrange some one-to-one meetings in a public place.

Expenses: You will be given a £10 Love2shop voucher for your time. Transport costs can also be reimbursed within reason, and tea and biscuits will be provided.
